Electric Violinist  Hana Yim Wahl

Hana is an American born violinist who performs professionally for over 26 years now, from theater shows as a solo violinist, to orchestral performance and chamber music ensembles. 

She performed with the Johannesburg Philharmonic orchestra, the Scullery Quintet and the popular female electric string quartet, The Muses for over then years. She is a Yamaha endorsed violinist. She often performs in solo capacity at corporate events, weddings and other functions and easily works in different groups or collaborations.

Electric Cellist – Anjulie

Anjulie de Vos-Nock is well known in the music industry as a performer, composer, recording artist and educator. Anjulie completed her B.Mus degree at the University of Stellenbosch Conservatory of Music, with her main instruments being cello, voice and piano and majoring in teaching method, composition and ensemble performance. 

After her studies she was awarded a scholarship to further her studies at the Bruckner Conservatory of Music in Linz, Austria. Upon her return to South Africa she started her teaching career at Somerset College, was appointed as Head of Music at Parklands College a few years later and became Head of Culture at Paarl Girls’ High in 2018.

She has collaborated with various national and international productions and her experience and versatility extends from band member for South Africa’s first Pop Idol, Heinz Winckler, performances in Holland and Belgium with Stef Bos and his band and a tour of England with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company.

For three years Anjulie was a member of the all female group Zamar, during which time they recorded two albums and performed at the Huisgenoot Skouspel. Currently Anjulie is part of the female electric string trio “Rosanthorn”.

Anjulie enjoys her work as a freelance artist. She regularly performs at the national arts festivals and has contributed to the albums of Arno Carstens, Prime Circle, Francois van Coke, Spoegwolf, Lize Beekman, Luna Paige and Die Heuwels Fantasties to name a few.

Rike on Sax

As a female saxophonist, Rike aspires to add a classy touch with ambient music and atmosphere to any function, event or special venue. From light and jazzy soft instrumental music, to modern house music and pop music to uplift any mood.

In 2001 she was the residential musician at the Centurion lake Hotel, then joined the Cape Town band, Southern Glow in 2002 and performed in the Middle east, Abu Dhabi, in the famous “Jazz Bar” of the Hilton Abu Dhabi. Currently she performs regularly at the Indaba Hotel in Johannesburg at their Sunday brunch to entertain guests. She also regularly performs at the Intercontinental Hotel at the airport. She worked with the band “The Worx” and performed at the Royal Mirage inDubai and regularly performed in Dubai over New years Eve events. The most recent New Years eve performance was in Dubai 2019 at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm. Since then she’s been performing at the Bushveld Terrace hotel at the Kruger National Park to entertain international guests visiting the Park.

She regularly performs at prestigious corporate events, Gala evenings, awards functions, Red Carpet Events and special celebrations since 2010 for guests such President Ramaphosa, Dr. John Maxwell, events for NSBC, also regularly at the Da Vinci hotel over 8 years from 2011. She started and play in an Afro Jazz band, Ethnix, who recently performed at different events from the intimate Royal Madikwe Lodge to localevents for Unisa, Nedbank, Investec to name a few.
