

They carefully chose the right music and volume to suit the required atmosphere, taking in and
considering the mood, the variety of guests and what would best add that extra special ambience at events. They rove around guests when appropriate whilst performing and are comfortable in a variety of settings, from stage performances to arrival music to welcome guests.
They have many years of experience, having performed at numerous events for the Nedbank, KPMG, University of Pretoria, NSBC and for many corporate events. They are a popular duo with great musical ability and expertise in performing at events. Their music style ranges from soft background, jazzy, African, to modern popular songs and latin numbers. Rike plays the soprano and alto sax while Kabelo doubles on both acoustic and electric violin.
Both Kabelo and Rike have excelled in their musical careers, Rike did her exams through the Royals School of Music and also performed as Chief Musician in the South African Air Force Band. Currently she also performs with Afro-Jazz band Ethnix and as a solo performer, also with DJ’s, recently in Seychelles at the Avani resort for New Years Eve and often in Dubai.
Kabelo studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and has performed with the JPO, Buskaid as solo master and shared the stage with Hugh Masakela, Sibongile Khumalo and Black Coffee. Kabelo Motlhomi is an accomplished violinist and educator, performs in orchestras, string quartets and as a session musician. He features as violinist in Afriduo, sax & violin.1
